Accountant and Human Resources Specialist
The Accountant & Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties of a growing non-profit organization and assisting the Executive Director with human resources. Accounting duties include recording expense transactions, tracking accounts receivable and donation receipts, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, processing payroll, preparing internal statements, and budgets reports utilizing QuickBooks Online software. Human resources duties include support with the hiring and the interview process and assists in maintaining NJC’s human resources compliance, procedures, policies, and systems as needed.

Conference Intern
This Internship is a part time and remote position. It is flexible based on your school schedule or another job commitment. However, it is expected that you can work during the daytime hours especially between Monday-Thursday to communicate with presenters and panelists
regarding their presentation submissions.
We are looking for a Conference Intern who is passionate about racial justice, wants to build on their organizing and communications skills, and understands the importance of strong systems and data collection for helping an organization run effectively. The ideal candidate is responsible, highly organized yet flexible, pays attention to the smallest details, and knows when to ask for help while also being able to work independently. Must be able to hold confidential information and function effectively in growing statewide, regional, and virtually connected organization.
