Registration information

Registration is now open! Walk-in registration is welcome however we prefer that you register here if possible.

ACCESSIBILITY - Conference registration is free because of grants and donations from socially progressive funders such as Lush Charity Pot, the Emergent Fund, and numerous other grassroots funders.  Additionally, our goal is to make our 2nd Annual conference affordable for Anishinaabe and other Native people. 

DONATIONS - If you would like to donate for this year or next years conference you can contact us or provide a donation at the conference. We are currently utilizing a fiscal sponsor so donations are processed through them. We can certainly use the donations to sustain this important racial justice work in Anishinaabe Aki led by and for our people.

LODGING - The Native Justice Coalition can’t provide lodging assistance for attendees however we have been able to block out 40 rooms at a discounted rate at the Baraga Lakeside for $75.00 per night. The rooms are blocked until Saturday, May 4th, so we encourage you to book your rooms as soon as you can. For more information please call - (906) 353-7123 to book your stay. The Ojibwa Casino Resort is reserved for our presenters but you can call to see if there are any available rooms left - (906) 353-6333. Ojibwa Casino address - 16449 Michigan Ave (US-38), Baraga, MI 49908.

The Ojibwa Campground is owned and operated by the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Camping is available in the forest and along the lakeshore. Please see the website for rates for Tribal members and non-tribal members.

Additional lodging in the area is limited. You can also book lodging in Houghton, Marquette, and nearby villages.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE - We can provide travel assistance if needed. However, we have a limited pool of funds since we are in year two with grant funding. Please select the option below and we will reach out with additional information and support.

VENDORS - If you are interested in vending at our conference please contact us.

FLYERS - If you want print flyers or kicker cards (postcards) for your community, university, etc, please contact us and we will mail these out to you.
