The Native Justice Coalition appreciates and respects the privacy of our donors. We have adopted the following policy with respect to the private data our organization might have access to from our donors. NJC may revise this policy from time to time, and we encourage you to periodically review this statement to understand how NJC is using and protecting your information.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
When a donation is made to the NJC, NJC may collect personal information from the donor, such as the donor’s name, address, phone number, email address, and any other information about the donor that is not publicly available. If you access NJC’s site or make a donation electronically, NJC may also have access to information such as your IP address, browser type, and domain name.
Any information provided by the donor is used for its stated purposes only, generally to process a donation or to keep donors updated regarding NJC’s activities. NJC also stores this information for tax reporting purposes, and to keep an accurate donor history record so that we can make better budget projections.
We will not sell, share or trade the private information of our donors with any other organization or entity, nor will we use donor information to contact donors on behalf of other organizations. NJC will not disclose donor information, except as required by law.
Security of Personal Information
NJC secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure by storing information in a secured, controlled location. When personal information is transmitted to NJC via outside websites, it is protected through the use of encryption.
