Our Cultural Care Package initiative was a special project we had engaged in during the pandemic to support the Michigan Native American community across the state. We received a lot of positive and uplifting feedback regarding this initiative. We are excited to launch this initiative again for the December holidays!
This year, we will distribute up to 400 care packages to individuals and families across the Michigan Native American community. We have increased the amount from last year due to our organization’s growth!
If you are interested in requesting a care package please read over our requirements. In the form below, share your tribal affiliations whether you are enrolled or not enrolled. We don’t need to see your status card or any paperwork but we do appreciate your honesty. While anyone can request care packages we are emphasizing support for elders, veterans, disabled and/or homebound residents, low-income households, and boarding/residential school survivors.
Care packages can be requested by the Native American community living in Michigan. We can’t mail care packages to Ontario or other provinces because of international shipping costs. We are honored you requested a care package from another state, but we ask if you live outside of Michigan to utilize resources in your communities and other community organizations.
Please complete this form below if you would like a care package mailed to you!
